My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 80+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Lexus LS430 sedan. The Lexus LS has long been one of my favorite luxury sedans. I like it because, when the LS first came out, it was Toyota's first chance to take a shot at the big luxury brands...and they left nothing to chance. The Lexus LS is one of the most over built vehicles on the road. And, regardless of your personal preference in brand, you have to respect that. I would rate the exterior of this LS430 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. It is finished in dark, dark green over tan, which is a good color combination. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific LS430, the worst I can say is that there is a deep scratch (about 6" long) on the driver's door and a few normal rub marks on the rear bumper cover...not bad for its age. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take the time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Lexus came in. Pride in ownership shows throughout this LS430. This Lexus has had the same owner since 41k miles and it was a NEW LEXUS TRADE. Additionally, there is a lien release from John Hopkins FCU so I would assume this Lexus was owned by a medical professional who worked at John Hopkins in Baltimore. I would rate the interior of this Lexus to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The leather seats are soft, supple and show minimal wear...the worst being a torn outer bolster on the driver's seat. The wood interior accents give the cabin a rich, warm feel. The veneer around the navigation display is delaminating, which is normal at this age. The Mark Levinson Premium Audio system works properly and sounds good. The touch screen display powers up and works properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. This Lexus comes with two master keys and a full set of owner's books. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Lexus. Mechanically, this LS430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering feels good and the brakes stop the car easily. From highway speeds, you can feel a little vibration in the front brakes so you'll probably want to get new pads sooner than later. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The V8 engine makes plenty of power. This full sized Lexus was made for the open road. She gobbles up pavement quickly and quietly. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally for an older Lexus. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a clean older LS that hasn't been all used up, this two owner LS 430 deserves your serious consideration. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description.
