Up for auction is my 2005 Land Rover Freelander...or as I like to refer to it, a Land Rover Freeloader. I have owned many Land Rovers and have had this one for about 5 years. I've put a lot of money and maintenance into it, but it constantly requires more. This is not a great car, no fault of mine or the previous owners. To be honest the build quality of this car is not up to the Land Rover brand. Will this car start and drive? With a new battery, yes. Does it need work? Yes it does. Will you be able to jump in it and drive around for an hour or two or get on the freeway? Nope. I want to be clear and honest about the quality of what you are purchasing. This is definitely a mechanic's special. If you know about these cars, are mechanically smart, or want to fix it up for your car lot, then this could be a good cheap car for you. I've always liked the looks of the Freelander which is why I purchased it. And I know the Land Rover brand well, having owned 4 different models (I currently own a 74' 109). And it has been reliable over the years as long as I have stayed on top of it (I drove it from Miami to Kentucky when I moved 2 years ago). But again to be clear, this is not a car you will be able to jump in and drive if you purchase it. Currently known details and/or faults... 2 power windows that do not rollErratic idle (after myself and my mechanic have set and reset) Sometime overheating (but if it gets hot we immediately shut it off) Added a uHaul tow hitchInterior and paint is in good condition, with usual wear and tear for the age Aftermarket step barsPower seats/Power windowsTires are going on 4 years old There is no reserve on this vehicle, so any bids will own this vehicle. I will accept PayPal or cash on pickup. No scams and no checks - I've been on ebay a long time and won't deal with it. The car won't leave until I've been paid. I will be available to meet a shipper (again, you can't come and drive this away) but I won't ship the vehicle. It will need to be towed. If you have 0 bid history then do not bother bidding on it.
