My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 70 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Subaru Legacy sedan with just 110k miles. I would rate the exterior this Legacy to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. On the whole, this Legacy looks good. The only thing keeping it from a higher rating is the obvious damage to the left fender and driver's door. Aside from that, this is a pretty good looking car. It is finished in Brilliant Silver over Off Black cloth interior. The body lines themselves are nice and straight as the damage visible appears to be cosmetic. The factory alloy wheels show well. Tire tread is on the thin side all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully as this is certainly no show car. I would rate the interior of this Subaru to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show a few marks but are not excessively worn. The seats also show a few marks from age but are comfortable and not excessively worn. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seat and sunroof all work properly. The original radio has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player that looks to have a flip up display, too. I can't figure out how to get it to open up and turn on...although I will admit that I spent a whole ten seconds on trying to figure it out. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Legacy appears to be in good running and driving condition but could definitely use some love. The 2.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. I did notice that the power steering is making some noise so there is most definitely a leak somewhere in the system. I do not know where the leak is or how fast it is leaking. I will be sure it is topped up with a good quality fluid before it leaves for its new home but you'll definitely have to watch it. Out on the road, the engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. I did notice that there is an audible exhaust leak coming from about the center of the car. It's not offensively loud but you can definitely hear it. Another thing I noticed is that it jumps a little during tight turns, such as pulling into a parking spot. During normal driving, you don't feel anything unusual...you feel it only during tighter turns. I've not looked further into it beyond my road test so I would start with simply checking the fluid in the center differential. It may be as simple as topping up the fluid, or it may be something that needs replaced at some point. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She isn't much to look at and needs a little love to be perfect, but here is a good chance to get into an AWD Subaru before the AWD and 4WD drive prices spike...and you can pick at the little things it needs as you can.
