Vehicle Detail
here is a true survivor, this is the way most of the 750's looked after about 10 years, I worked for a Honda dealer during the 70's, and I put on a ton of sissy bars and apehanger handlebars and 4 into 2 pipes after the originals rusted out. this bike has been in dry shed storage since 1991, I finally realized that I probably won't be able to restore it (I have 2 and 1 has to go) I decided to sell it as is, no cleanup, except to get it running, I cleaned and adjusted the points, lubed up the advancer, replaced plugs, adjusted cam chain and valves, opened up the carbs, but they were incredibly clean, I still can't believe how good they looked, put them back on, put in a battery, flushed out the oil tank, and lines, removed and cleaned the sump pan, put new O-rings on the oil pump, new filter and oil, hooked up a gas can to the carbs and it started on the 2nd kick! and ran strong! ran it through the gears(just to make sure they worked) other than that nothing. everthing looks original except for the front end, that's been changed around at some point. the gas tank shows some light rust inside but NOT BAD, it has 37,049 miles on it. I do not have a title, but will provide a complete bill of sale. A fine example to leave it as it is, a time capsule, or to restore. e-mails welcome, USA sale only, continental 48 states. Buyer to take care of delivery (will help with what I can) full payment at pickup.(almost forgot, will include an original HM300 right side upper pipe) Thanks for checking it out, and if you bid, good luck!
