1964Chevrolet C-10 Up For Sale is my 1964 Chevy C-10. I really hate to sale it, but the time has come. Has been a local Wilson NC truck all it's life. Was bought from original owners. After his daughter decided to sale it to me finally. The truck is a long bed with the hard to find BIG Back Glass. I've owned several C10 trucks & this one by far is my favorite. Just has a cool look about it that you don't see much. I'm a mechanic by trade so everything was done the right way by me. When I got the truck it was in pretty good shape. I'll try to list as much as possible I've done to it so far. If you still have question feel free to ask. I try to answer within 24 hrs. IF RESERVE IS REACHED - I WILL INCLUDE MATCHING CUSTOM LOW RIDER RAT ROD WAGON!!!!!!!!! Engine & DrivetrainAll original 283 V8. New Custom duel exhaust with flowmasters! I wanted to keep the original patina under the hood so I really didn't do that much. I serviced it,changed spark plugs & rebuilt carburetor. Flushed coolant & serviced transmission. It's 3 on the tree manual transmission. Clutch is strong & drives smooth. I replaced all u-joints,center support bearing, & serviced rear differential. It does have small oil leak but not bad ( it's old truck, lol) . I still drive it to shows & around town a lot so I feel it's pretty dependable. ExteriorIt's the original light blue & white from 1964 I went with, but I scuffed up to add the patina. I did also clear over that with a custom matte clear. It's a very solid truck that didn't need a whole lot of bodywork. Plus I was looking to keep the dents & defects to give it more character. I did fix three rust spots on both front fenders at the bottom & the tailgate. Those were the bad areas & I left the rest original to spray over. I removed all glass & replaced front windshield. All rubber on glass is new & I rebuilt vent windows. So it's tight in the cab with no air leaks. Has all the original aluminum side moldings & grille. Replaced all molding clips & hardware since i had them off. I did replace the bumpers, tailgate chains,wiper arms,c10 side emblems, & mirror. I added new style halogen headlights with relay kit, so there a lot brighter than the stock sealed beams. BedBed wood was custom made & stained. Has new bed rail strips & hardware to hold it all down also. InteriorAll stock interior as I wanted to keep it's originality since it was such a good solid truck. I did add a seat cover, but the original seat under it looks pretty good. Just has small rip on side where you get in at. Suspension To start with I removed the bed to add the CPP suspension components. Has cpp c-notch, 5 Inch rear lowering spings, 4 inch front lowering springs, 2 inch lowering blocks, shock relocators, nitro lowering shocks front & rear, & new track bar bushings. Brakes All new front brake drums,wheel cylinders, shoes, hardware, & rubber brake lines. Rear has new shoes,hardware,wheel cylinder, & rubber brake lines. I also replaced all parking brake cables from the handle inside truck to the rear, so it's tight! Wheels & TiresCoker Classic Nostalgia 215/75/R15 with the 2.5 inch Wide Whites. I painted them hot rod flatz red.
