I bought this 1977 Porsche Carrera from a Nebraska friend to restore. It is now in Osage Beach, MO. I need to sell because of my health and the size of the project. I only need to get my original cost back. It has not run for several years. It has a clear Missouri title in my name with a notation that says; "Prior Salvage Motor Vehicle". I have two skids of extra parts for it including all the wrap around panels. there are also extra seats and a good battery. As near as I can tell it is a "Euro" style with a whale tail rear spoiler, flared fenders, and wide tires. It has the soft top "convertible" conversion package. The body has been factory zinc galvanized dipped and is the most rust resistant 911 ever produced. The Carrera 3.0 was given the same die-cast aluminum crankcase as the 930 or the 911 Turbo'. It's 3-litre engine has K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection. The engine is a "flat" 6 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission. The car's length is 168.9", width is 70.1", height is 51.6" and weighs 2315 lbs. During its short two-year life span, only 3687 cars were built. Of these 2564 were Carrera coupes & 1123 were Targas. Upon commitment to buy I will require 10% deposit in the form of a cashiers check, Pay Pal deposit or personal check which has cleared my bank. The balance to be paid through PayPal or at the time of car being picked up, also same terms as the deposit.
