Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1997 Ford E150 Camper Van, just in time for the fall camping/hunting seasons. I have owned this for the last almost 7 years and used it for my own personal camping trips. I have driven it all over the state of Missouri, as well as a few out of state trips. I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere. I originally bought this van out of St Louis as just a passenger van. It had been very well taken care of. I then bought new the roof top ac unit and had it installed. It works like a charm! It also has the heat option, but I've never bought the element. For about $50 and 30 seconds of your time, that roof top unit can also be a heater. This van is in very nice shape, and has not been used and abused! I love camping, but got tired of tent camping. This solves that problem for half or more the cost of a full size RV. I love it for the ease it provides when camping. Just drive in to your campsite, unload your gear, inflate the queen size air mattress (included with sale), throw on some bedding (not included), and you're all set! Camp tear down is even better. Just throw in your gear and go! This provides a place to sleep, not on the ground, gets you out of the elements, and when it's hot and sticky out, provides you a place to rest or sleep in air conditioned comfort. Also way more secure that a tent itself. Provides a place to actually lock away more value items while you may be aware from your campsite. Has pull down shades on all back windows and a pull across curtain to hide front windows for privacy. I do have the middle two seats, so when it's not in use as a camper, it can still be used as a passenger van. Is it perfect? No. It's 20 years old, but still good looking and great driving. If your interested, I welcome you to come look for yourself before bidding. Come look first, or ask all questions before bidding. I can even text extra pics if need be. I do reserve the right to end the auction early due to being for sale locally. A $500 deposit through PayPal will be required within 24 hours and the reminder within 7 days from sale date, cash in person or bank certified cashiers check. If you can't come pick up in person, shipping is up to you. This is sold AS-IS, with no warranty expressed or implied . I'm open to answering any and all questions, so ask away. Thanks for looking!
