My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Volkswagen EOS with the desirable 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this EOS to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking convertible. It is finished in black over black leather interior, which looks great. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this EOS. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Volkswagen. This EOS would easily pass for half the miles. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this little convertible came in. I would also rate the interior of this EOS to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The black interior looks great against the black exterior. The only thing I can complain about inside the car is that there is a hole worn in the carpet from the driver's heel...not out the question to find in a higher mileage car. This can easily be covered with a floor mat and nobody would ever see it. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The folding hard top has two functions. With the touch of one button, you can open a remarkably large sunroof. Move the lever right in front of that one and the folding hard top retracts seamlessly into the trunk to give you a proper convertible. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this EOS. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally well cared for this VW is. Mechanically, this VW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.0L TFSI engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. This EOS is an absolute blast to drive. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. This little EOS handles very well and is sure to put a smile on your face. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels very strong. This is a quick, quick car. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the desirable six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. If you follow my auctions, you will know my disgust with the VW DSG transmission and you may also notice that I almost never buy them...and I would recommend the you do the same. If you're looking for a VW from 2005.5 and newer, buy a stick. If you don't know how to drive a stick, learn. It'll save you lots of money and headaches in the future. I was lucky enough to get a beautiful day to road test this car and, I'll be honest, I didn't want to take it back and park it. This EOS is way more fun than I thought it would be. This little convertible exceeded my expectations of an older VW in every measurable way. It's virtually spotless, everything works and it runs like a stabbed rat. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description.
