Keep in mind that I purchased the FJ already re-painted, so only can report on what I can see. I'm not aware of the amount of repair done beneath the current paint. I can say that I've owned the vehicle since 2010 and haven't noticed any new rust or cracking come through the paint. There is some surface rust where you would expect it on a 78 FJ. Under the floor mats, in the rear quarter panel areas, inside the ambulance doors. Other than that, the body is very solid. There are some "wrinkles" showing through the paint above the rear wheel wells. Not sure what kind of repair happened there. There is some rust starting to peek through the paint. Under the tail lights, I'm pretty confident that there has been some Bondo work done. There are cracks showing in the paint. Mileage is listed as N/A because I can't guarantee if the odometer has rolled or not. I can say that the engine runs very well and is very tight. All original. The original radio is not in the dash. I have installed an Alpine CD player in a locking center console. There is not add on vents or AC. It's all original FJ heater. Front and rear. There is an added Saginaw power steering pump installed by the previous owner.
