Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a sweet little 1962 Ford Falcon Futura Coupe. As you can see from the pictures, this isn't your run of the mill cruiser. It's got OG black paint with awesome patina! The car has all new valve cover gaskets, thermostat housing, water pump gasket, radiator hoses, drive belt and cooling system thoroughly flushed. Radiator has been boiled and cleaned. All new ignition system with new plugs, wires, ignition coil, distributor cap, button, points and condensor. New starter solenoid, starter, and battery. Ignition switch and column is all new and rebuilt. Brand new exhaust. Drive shaft has been rebalanced and shortened to accommodate lowered suspension. All new fuel system with rebuilt carburetor, new fuel filter, new gas tank, sending unit and fuel pump. New inner/outer tie rods, all new brake shoes and 2 wheel cylinders. New master cylinder and brake light switch. It also has brand new interior that just got finished! It has the rare futura bucket seats with center console. It also comes with new chrome steelies with bullet caps and new white walls as you can see in the picture. All the gauges and lights work as should. It runs and drives awesome! Cruise reliably. It has the 200 straight 6 out of a mustang with a 2 speed auto transmission. I also have the original chrome fender skirts! Any questions let me know! Was asking $6800 or best offer. WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE AT BUYERS EXPENSE. Call/text 919-961-3235 if needed. UPDATE - PLEASE READ: The Falcon had a minor electric fire underhood 9/17 while driving. Will need rewiring/rubber hoses/air cleaner etc before putting her back on the road. Nothing effected beyond underhood. I just don't have the time to commit to it.
