The underneath of this vehicle is rust free as it was “Ziebarted” when new. The lower body panels and rockers are in excellent condition. They have been re-sprayed and coated with chip protection. Overall, the paint is mostly original with only small areas showing signs of having been touched up. This vehicle has a clean car-fax and autocheck and has also been Pa state inspected. The interior is all original and the seats have only some minor imperfections. The carpeting is excellent as are the interior door panels. The dash is crack free and still very pliable. All the gauges work as do all the switches. The convertible top has been recently replaced and has no cuts or imperfections. The car comes with both a new tonneau cover and new boot cover. Rear window plastic is in good condition with few fold marks. All top snaps are intact and tight. The wheels are original and with the exception of some clear delaminating are in great condition. The tires are next to new with very deep tread. Engine and running condition are excellent. I’ve replaced the carburetor with a new Webber two stage unit and have installed a new exhaust header. There’s a new set of spark plugs, a new electric fuel pump and filter. The ignition system has been converted to electronic. The car starts on the turn of the key and runs like new. I have had it on the highway at 70 mph and it is a steady and sound as can be. Over all, the car is a definite 9 out of 10 in looks and performance. For the customer who wants a solid and reliable example of the classic MGB with an eye on future value, I am sure it’s the best for the money. The past owner had the car since 1995 and it has been well maintained and garage kept.
