Up for auction is a one-owner 2005 Honda Pilot EX-L with 158,649 miles. 4-wheel drive. Black exterior, saddle (tan) interior. Has the 255 HP, 3.5 liter, 24-valve, VTEC V-6 engine. Anti-lock brakes. 3RD row seating – seats 8. Keyless entry, built-in homelink universal garage door opener, Honda carpeted floor mats and Honda rubber floor mats. I have the original window sticker, which shows a total price of $34,335. One-owner, no one in our household has ever smoked, garaged since new. No accidents. Private seller. Service history. Cold A/C. Please ask any questions BEFORE you bid. The car is NOT for sale locally – it is only for sale on Ebay. And do not ask me to end the auction early – I won’t do it. The winner of the Ebay auction gets the car. Period. We’ve owned this vehicle since new and the mechanicals have been well cared for, with all servicing done at a Honda dealer, except for some oil changes at Valvoline. While Honda calls for oil changes every 5,000 miles, we’ve gotten the last 11 oil changes done an average of every 3,800 miles. Other service highlights: > New timing belt and water pump at 109,464 miles. > Brake fluid changed and new brake pads at 121,211 miles. > Driver’s air bag was replaced as part of a recall in May, 2015. > New battery and wiper blades in Dec. 2016 at 155,820 miles. > Separately in December 2016, I had $1,595.90 in work done at Kings Honda at 155,822 miles, including a tire rotation, oil change, changed the transmission fluid, changed the rear differential fluid, changed the air filter, changed the cabin air filter, replaced the passenger side inner CV boot and replaced the radiator. > Most recent oil change at Valvoline in May at 158,206 miles. The following items are in working order: > sunroof > heated front seats (high and low settings) > 8-way power driver’s seat > power windows > heated power mirrors > power door locks > keyless entry > automatic climate control > cruise control The CD player/changer is not working, but the radio works fine and the built-in rear DVD player works well (see photo). There’s two pair of wireless headphones, but they never worked very well from the start. My kids always just plugged in their own headphones (there are at least three places to plug them in). The body has some dings, scratches, scuffs and a couple small dents that you’d expect for a vehicle with 150,000 miles. The leather interior shows its age, but is only tearing in one place (see photo of driver’s seat). I did not detail the car before taking photos – just went to the car wash. I removed the license plates when taking these photos, and the rear license plate bolts sheared off. I’m not mechanically inclined, but from what I read online, you should be able to drill them out and retap the holes. The Thule-brand cross-bars (see photo) are included, and are worth a couple hundred dollars. They allow you to mount a luggage carrier. I’m also throwing in a pair of Fram air filters and a pair of Fram cabin air filters. The car is available for inspection in Loveland, Ohio (NE suburb of Cincinnati).
