It has served me well and will do also for you. 2001 Galaxy Silver Metallic Chevrolet Impala, 4-speed Automatic with Bonus over 3/4 tank gas. MILEAGE: 107,246 miles VIN #: 2G1WF52E219146799 TITLE: Clean INTERIOR: Blue and Medium Gray with Cloth Seat Trim [Gray] This was my own Impala (2 female owners total). Clean Title. FUEL ECONOMY: This gets: 20 City/29-32 Highway Miles per gallon (21 mpg overall) and runs great and is reliable transportation. FUEL TANK CAPACITY: 17 Gallons MOTOR: 3.4 Liter 6-Cylinder motor - starts every time, but needs a few seconds to really warm up even in warmer months. Runs great - no stalling. Cam type: Overhead valves (OHV), Horsepower: 180 hp @ 5200 rpm, Torque: 205 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm, Valves: 12 FEATURES: Split-bench front seats, Power windows and door locks, Child safety locks. Drivers side one- touch power window, Child seat anchors, Rear door child safety locks, Six passenger, 4 door sedan, Front center lap belt, interior trunk release, roomy trunk with spare tire; never used. Daytime running lights, Dusk-sensing headlights, Interior and headlights stay on as your entering your home at night, a feature I loved as it allowed time to get in safely. On Star System, I never used it so I'm unsure if that works. Cigarette lighter and extra 12 volt accessory plug (both work fine). Drivers side and passenger visor mirrors. Front drivers and passengers side extra pull out sun visors, Front middle armrest with compartment for CD's and more and dual drink holders. Front and rear seat ashtrays. Driver and passenger airbags (never deployed). 2 front headrests, and rear headrests. AIR CONDITIONING/HEAT: The Air Conditioning works wonderful and blows cold. The heat also works well as it should. INSTRUMENTATION/AUDIO: Digital display clock, AM/FM Seek/Scan Radio, CD player and 4 total speakers, Element Antenna ~ All in fine working condition. TIRES: Good Year Assurance Tires were purchased new in 2015 but were on my other Implala (that is no longer in service) at the time so my mechanic just switched the tires over to this car in May 2017. So there is only about a year's worth of wear on these tires which were originally purchased and put on by Sullivan Tire (receipt included ~ these alone were over $500. They have ALOT of tread and life left on them and are in excellent condition as shown in photo's). SUSPENSION: Front independent suspension TRANSMISSION: Automatic Transmission has also been flushed, filled and filter replaced on schedule. Shifts as it should. BRAKES: Electronic brake-force distribution, Front disc / rear drum brakes I have most associated paperwork and it has been maintained well by me. Original manuals and most paperwork included. RECENT WORK:The only paperwork missing is the recent front brake pads, new muffler, front sway bar replaced and new tie rod (passenger side). All were replaced in May of this year (2017). INSPECTION STICKER: Valid New (May 2017) Massachusetts Sticker. Just inspected and no issues. EXTRAS: Paperwork, Manuals, Spare Bulb, old and new set of license plate screws, tire guage NEEDS: Oil Change, a front wheel stud on front passenger side, and could use a rug shampooing. --Everything on the car works but a few minor issues: ~ It will need a wheel stud on the front passenger side replaced. It drives fine but my mechanic said this should be replaced to be safe. (It broke off while he was doing the front brake pads in May of this year). ~Some rust in spots as shown in photos. ~No key fob, but two keys are included. Key fob can be made at a retailer of them. ~Plastic drink holder in front wont stay inside armrest if flipped in the up position, otherwise fine as is in the down position. ~"Change oil" light comes on even when you just had it done. Light goes off after you start out down the road. This has never been any issue for me and something I had gotten used to. ADVICE on Cooling System: I have used only Dexcool (orange coolant) as radiator coolant in this and advise anyone to keep using it as this is what the manufacture specifies. Upon purchase a few years ago, I had the system flushed, cleaned and replaced with orange Dexcool and it runs as it should with the manufacturer specs. Note: I would have had the oil change completed and the wheel stud replaced but I just took this off the road a couple weeks ago because I was gifted a newer car from a family member. This car is clean and comfortable with good interior ergonomics, is easy to maintain and fun to drive and is good solid, reliable transportation. These chevy's are used by police and taxi services and can go well over 200,000 miles when maintained well. Comfort: 4.5 Stars Exterior Styling: 4.5 Stars Interior Design: 4 Stars Value for the Money: 4.5 Stars Performance: 4.5 Stars Reliability: 4 Stars Overall Consumer reports gives it a 4.5 star point rating. I really didn't want to part with this car but funds are needed for other things plus I'm in my other car now so I must part with this. The new owner will be happy!
