My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Volkswagen Touareg V8 with just 95k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Touareg to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in black over teak, which is a striking color combination. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The only things worth pointing out about the exterior of this Touareg are a few scratches here and there...nothing bad. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. Most of the chrome exterior trim has been blacked out, which looks good. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Toyo's. Tire tread is on the thin side of average and should probably be replaced within the next year or so, depending on how much you drive. All of the glass and lenses are inatct. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Touareg came in. I would rate the interior of this Touareg to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The Teak leather interior contrasts nicely against the blacked out exterior and really makes this truck stand out. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory VW all-weather floor mats are included. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Rear seat room is impressive and the seats are comfortable. The cargo area is spacoius and clean, too. Please take your time and check out this entire listing to see how exceptional this Touareg is. Mechanically, this VW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The factory mufflers have been upgraded and the exhaust on this Touareg sounds great. It has a smooth, mellow exhaust note. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The only warnings on are for brake pad thickness and the automatic headlight adjusters. The 6 speed DSG transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I'd drive this Touareg anywhere without a second thought. It's clean. It's comfortable. It's capable. Pride in ownership shows throughout this well optioned SUV. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery.
