'69 polara convertible. runs & drives. ENGINE1975 440 motor home engine. was remanned at some point. found tag on engine. super clean on the inside. low miles for sure. refitted with correct '69 intake, valve covers, oil pan, water pump, HP exhaust manifolds. needs some fine tuning. still has point distributor. 800 cfm carter carb w/choke removed. electronic ignition & fresh carb are all it needs to really screem TRANSHD 727 rebuilt by 727 specialists. anyone familiar with this builder can tell you his units are top shelf. 11" converter REAR END8 3/4 with 3.23 sure grip. 741 caserear end was swapped for a B-body unit (2 1/4" narrower) to fit the 15x10 rims with no clearance issues. spring mounts were moved & rewelded. front spring hangers were swapped for '74 B-body units (13/16" lift). rear hangers were replaced with 1 1/4" longer units. all bushings replaced. rear sway bar & traction bars added. air shocks set @ 25 lbs. so they are not doing all the heavy lifting or creating a harsh ride. BRAKES11" manual drumbrake system completely gone thru. new master & wheel cylinders, rubber lines, and most hard lines replaced. car originally had pwr brakes. I dont like accessories stealing power from my engine STEERINGmanual steering. was pwr originally but I dont like power robbing accessories. correct C-body box installed w/aftermarket coupler EXHAUSTsidepipes are connected and have a nice mellow tone. not loud like you might think. ELECTRICALnew battery. system charges fine. headlights & taillights work fine. gauges work. dash lights do not. dimmer for gauge lights is probable culprit. original AM radio works but needs speaker. BODYpictures tell the story. needs paint & some body work. or rat rod it, its kind of all the same color.new convertible top INTERIORfront seats are mid '70's buckets. a little gaudy for my taste but they are comfy. driver seat is power. tested before installed & worked but not currently hooked up. all interior panels are there and in fair condition but could use some help. i have a front bench seat (needs recover) free to buyer.
