Up for sale is my 2006 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor. This bike looks awesome in Pearl Cosmic Black, it really is one of the better colors for this machine. Showing 29,000 adult ridden miles, it's condition and performance belie its mileage. Everything works perfectly, there are no issues. Over the years, these bikes have garnered multiple awards for their performance and reliability. This VFR is essentially stock and comes complete with the original owner's manual, spanner, seat cowl, etc. However, some minor modifications have been made and it should be noted that the rear fender/license plate assembly has been removed for esthetic reasons along with the side reflectors. It comes with the following upgrades: Two Brothers exhaust system (sounds awesome!) Raised HELI bars (clip-ons that are 1.25" up and 1.50" back to make the riding position more comfortable) A "Tailblazer" brake light feature (produces an ever increasing strobe to full-on when braking) for extra safety… Corbin Panniers. These bags hold a decent amount of gear. They are un-mounted and are painted to match the bike. A throttle lock for highway cruising 12V outlet for GPS, Cell phone or other accessory Please look at the hi-res images that will show how clean and well maintained this bike was and has been since my ownership (2nd owner - always adult owned and operated). The paint and metals are all in great shape. The only reason for selling is that I have two of the same and want to make room for something else.Recent services include: new Bridgestone front and rear tires about 3.5k miles ago, along with a brake flush and pads, clutch fluid and adjustment this past spring. In May 2017, the entire bike was gone through by my mechanic with a complete safety inspection. At that time, a new battery was installed, coolant flush, cam chains looked fine, etc. along with an oil change and filter. Registration has been renewed through July 2018, so she is ready to ride now! I have clear title to this fine motorcycle and will I accept payment in the form of bank wire, cash (preferred) or a cashier's check. Checks will have to clear my bank before I release the bike and title. Not really wanting to accept PayPal unless winning bidder agrees to pay the fees for that convenience.
