Volvo got it RIGHT with this one!!! Lookit the shine!! Super favorite of mine....Looks great. Drives great. Volvo Service book chocked full of history. Recent Timing Belt and Brakes installed at Volvo. We just used the car for a 5 hour round trip to Indianapolis not including the running around in town for 4 days!! We have logged over 600 miles on this car with ZERO issues or problems! Ready to roadtrip anywhere you take it!! Oh....btw....legitimate 28.4mpg with the air-conditioning on too! NOT reading the info panel....ACTUAL math. Hancook Tires are easily 50%+ treadlife left. ALL ride on super duper clean damage/vibration free rims. Below you can see the fresh VOLVO installed brake pads. Brakes will throw you thru the dash if needed. No grinding or warping. ALL stopage! Hop underneath the hood and enjoy the ridiculously clean engine compartment. No shiesty shine here, just clean and maintained! Below you can see the obvious Volvo Servicing via recently replaced timing belt and Volvo battery. Engine fires right up every time. Runs smoothly with no noises, knocking or ticking. No misfires. Runs perfect. This is the part that you may not want to read if you are buying for your teen to drive....but....the car is FAST! I have driven many an "R" model over the years and I prefer the T-5 versions. Just as fast without the power robbing AWD. This car no different! Pulls hard and very controllable. No tire spin or torque steer. Keep your foot off the fun pedal and it is as boring as grandma's Oldsmobile hence the 28+mpg. Needless to say, the turbo spools properly. Transmission shifts thru every gear as it should. No signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No spots on my shop floor overnight. Fluids are clean. When I got the car, the engine light came on then off again. Showed basically an O2 sensor code. Familiar with this, I know not to run out and buy an O2 sensor. I cleaned the MassAirMeter with the proper cleaner. I also found a small vacuum line had popped off. This was BEFORE the Indy trip. 500+ miles later, the light hasn't come back on. That said, be prepared as it may return in the future. Not the end of the world. Easy fix. Reminder: NO RESERVE! Exterior is an easy 8.5+ out of 10. No 20-footers here!! Get all up on it....shine everywhere...I can count on one hand how many dings there are...minimal scratches....ZERO RUST or major dents. I'm no bodyman but I can't see any signs of major body repair or repaint. About the only expected thing to point out is the typical frontal area tiny nicks and chips from use on the front bumper cover. Surprisingly the hood is nice sporting minimal chips. Vinyl trim is undamaged and NOT dry. Headlights are clean and clear with no fading. All exterior illumination works as it should. Seriously....LOOK at that shine!! Imagine if you had it professionally buffed and waxed!! Below are the 2 eyesore areas....it's as if there was a ski rack that left it's mark. Tiny and barely noticeable...but there. These appear on both sides of the upper roof. Rear bumper cover looks great with only a few minor scratches. No holes or damages. Roof is stellar. Interior is an excellent 9.5+ out of 10....observe... Welp...there it is....the solo eyesore in the entire interior....tiny tears in the driver's seat lower and minor cloth staining. If you are like me, you hold your drink between your legs at times while driving and then....spills happen. Carpet is clean. Headliner is clean. Everything is clean. I HATE smoke! I can't see or smell ANY signs of a former smoker. No burns. No stench. No ashes. Nothing. Just...car.Below you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate during startup with NONE staying on during run. "NO MESSAGES" happily displays on the info panel. ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING and HOT HEAT are at the ready. Clean unworn steering wheel, shifter and controls. Nothing worn or ugly. Full functioned steering wheel controls command your radio desires. Climate controls at the tip of your fingers. Power items works as they should: locks, windows, mirrors, heated seats, etc. AUX input inside the center console awaits your media feed. Tested fully during our roadtrip. Unseen is the BlueTooth system ready to integrate with your cell phone. Also tested fully. Note the 672miles in the tripometer....proof of our useage. Above you can see factory original floormats are included, albeit a lil dirty but not damaged. Spare tire setup is ready for your roadtrip. Rear seating looks never sat in. ALL the original manuals and ONE key/keyfob are included. Rare but true...maintenance record book is STUFFED with proof of Volvo Service stamps. EVERYTHING that was required seems to have been recorded. I am NEVER afraid of high miles....because THIS is what you can expect to see!! It's a true badge of honor to make it this far...and flawlessly I might add!! Plenty more to go also!! Come on....brake fluid changes....who does that anymore?!? Volvo does. I can't prove it, but I think the 2 owner status is actually 1 owner that moved state to state...aka college student. Just my opinion. Inspect my excellent feedbacks!!
