This 1979 VW convertible is on the road running and driving. I got it 3 years ago and it has been in the corner of my shop. I put in a new clutch and pressure plate, a new alternator, and a new carburetor.. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Adjusted the valves and set the timing. New top, but has a very small tear. EMPI wheels. No radio or air cleaner. Might need brakes down the road. This is a good base for a restoration because you can drive it while restoring it. Paint is ok, but a good buffing would help. Small spot on rear fender needs to be fixed. Car needs other minor work as a almost 40 year old car would. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime as car is for sale locally
