Vehicle Detail
This listing is for my 1999 Toyota Tacoma. I got this vehicle in 2009 after my uncle passed away and it has been very reliable. Even having over 400,000 miles. I used it mostly as a work truck making deliveries around the city. It did not pass inspection this year because the headlights need to be cleaned and the master cylinder is leaking brake fluid and needs to be replaced. Right before I got ready to put it in the shop to be fixed other problems started to arise. The main issue is that it keeps wanting to run hot. The water pump was replaced in March. I haven't noticed any leaking in that area so I ruled out replacing it again. The tires were replaced in April. They are still in good condition, but it can use a front end alignment. It has a full size spare that needs to be replaced. The guys at the tire shop "forgot" to use the best of the old as a spare. The alternator was replaced in May/June. Also the thermostat and fan clutch. This is when I started having the issue of it wanting to run hot.The AC still works. Could possibly use a charge and the blower motor needs to be replaced. The control knob for the AC/Heater clicks when you move it so I'm not sure if the heater works. I was told that the dash area would have to be removed to see why it's sticking.Has a small oil leak. With all that I have described above, it may just need a new engine. As you can see in the pictures, it does have dents and scratches. The bed cover did not originally come with the vehicle. The interior has been well used also. I'm by no means an expert or mechanic. I feel that I have described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. The VIN has been included in the item specifics area so you can run a history report. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle. $100.00 deposit - remainder is due in cash when you pick the vehicle up. Do not hesitate to ask questions if you are interested.
