This NO RESERVE auction is for a true original 1971 Buick GS Sport Coupe with the factory Stage 1 option. VIN 434371H197874 Original OW coded numbers matching turbo hydra-matic 400 transmission. Original numbers matching 455 cu. in. motor that a previous owner had decked and rebuilt in 1980 (some receipts for this included). Original 3.42 positive traction performance rear axle, power disc brakes and power steering with fast variable ratio, also sport mirrors, and rallye steering wheel. Non-air bench seat with four original 7 x 15 inch wheels. Includes original window sticker, broad-cast sheet, and owners manual. Frame, body and trunk solid, floor under drivers feet needs replacement, runs and drives well. Body is original with rust bubbles in usual places behind wheels, rear quarter panel lips are good. Battery tray area is intact. Includes quarter mile time slips from 1996 GS Nationals in Bowling Green Ky (14.80 sec @ 93 mph). Buyer responsible for pick-up or shipping.
