We recently took this 1969 C10 truck in on trade. The truck is in good condition for it's age and we were told by the previous owner that the motor had been rebuilt a few years back. We do not have any documentation for the rebuild but the motor starts right up and the truck runs and drives very well. I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to these old trucks but I will try to answer any questions the best that I can. I have driven the truck about 200 miles and I can say the motor is strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. There is an occasional pop from the exhaust on deceleration, not always but some times. The motor does leak oil at the valve cover gaskets and probably the rear main seal. The drivers side exterior door handle needs replacing/repair. There is a little rust on the rocker panel and on the rain rails. It's a pretty nice old truck, just fix the oil leaks and drive it just the way it is.
