You are bidding on a vintage 1976 Honda MR250 "Elsinore" in very good condition.This bike is a very low mileage(2,446) example and 95% original.Here are the details: The Honda MR250 was only produced in 1976,and as a result,they don't pop up too often.These were based on the Honda CR250 "Elsinore" motocross bikes of that era,but in a milder state of tune,and a wide ratio gearbox so it actually idles.This bike uses premix gas & oil,as there was not an oil pump on these.The bike is mostly original,and still has its original tool kit on the right side,along with the original "breadbox" silencer on the right.Also still has the original metal skidplate.The switchgear,levers & even the grips appear original.The headlight works fine,but the glass lens has a crack in it.The fenders have been replaced,as has the rear running light.Gas tank is very clean inside,but the tank & side panels were resprayed at some point,as were the sidecovers on the engine.Brakes work fine,as does the suspension.Original rims are in great shape,and the tires might be the originals also.The bike fires up after 4-5 kicks when cold,and ist kick when warmed up.Runs through all the gears with no issues.Clear Ohio title signed off by previous owner & ready to transfer.Also included is a reprint factory workshop manual.
