Vehicle Detail

Well it's time to sell my 1962 Chevy Impala, I've owned it for about 15years and have over $25k invested in this project. It's a great Driver but it will need to be finished (Paint & Interior) The Frame is VERY SOLID!! Its not a perfect car guys & girls and like I said it will need to be finished but can be driven the way it is as well. I have replaced all Body Mounts & Bushings on this Chevy, also I have Replaced the Front A-Arm Bushing with Teflon Bushings and greased them so they don't squeak or make noise. Every other bushing is Polyurethane. ~The Car has been completely rewired with a RON FRANCIS wiring harness with New Upgraded Fuse Panel, Every wire is labeled every 6" (Cost me about $1,000) ~Ron Davis Radiator, Car Doesn't get over 160 Degrees when running and driving!!! Really comfortable to cruise in.~Wilwood Front Brake Kit w/ 4 Piston Calipers ($1800) Upgraded Master Cylinder and Huge Brake Booster ~Front & Rear Swap Bars~SBC 350 Motor which has been fully rebuilt (has about 15k on motor) Nothing special really with the motor just wanted something very reliable!!~Turbo 350 Tranny with 8" converter, once again nothing special just wanted it to be reliable~Exhaust is Brand New!!! Headman Headers with Flow Master Pipe Kit(2 1/2") & Thrust Mufflers sounds really great and fits perfectly~Stock Rear End with Gears Drum Rear Brakes(Not sure exactly but they are between 3.70s-4.10s out back)~Edelbrock 600 Carb~Flaming River Billet Steering Column ~GM 605 Power Steering Box (quicker Ratio) Upgraded joints and shaft~Billet Specialties Valve Covers & Spark Plug Wire Covers, I haven't polished them yet but they look like chrome when I do~Intro Wheels 18" in front & 20" x 10s in the Rear with New tires (4K in wheels & Tires) The Car Drives amazing, I spent attention to getting the Bodyroll down to a minimum when your cruising and with the Big Willwood brakes the car stops amazing also. It doesn't run hot ever, stays between 155-165 in normal stop and go traffic. I have cruised it on the Highway also and its great but I don't go faster than 60mph since RPMs start to get high. I'm an Honest Guy, I'd rather Talk down about my car then hype it up. Its a Solid car but by all mean no show car or even a 20 footer.. It needs Paint and body work.. a car of this age that has never had a Frame off Resto will have a little corrosion and I took pics of it to show so nothing is hidden. It will need Quarter Panels, because who ever had this car before me decided to rivet quarters or the existing panels (That's right they didn't even remove the old ones, just tossed these right over the top of them lol) who would do that I don't know All the TRIM & CHROME for the Exterior & Interior is amazing and Straight... Could use a good polishing when you strip it to paint the car but I have EVERYTHING so your not missing one piece. I would replace the bumpers or rechrome them since the have some corrosion on them and they are ok but not perfect. Windows are starting to Delaminate but all the glass is there and window tracks need to be rebuilt to make them better, pass window give me issues about going up and staying up so its always down. Floors and trunk is still really solid but I like to start with the things that no one usually ever does to make a car reliable rather than throwing a cheap paint job on it.. That's why I did the wiring and all the suspension and body mounts & bushings, then the steering column and steering upgrades and radiator and Brakes ect... Please just give me a call to talk about the car, My name is Brandon 585-370-4881 but do bid with confidence as you are getting a great start to a car that has had a lot of time and money poured into it
