This is the real deal, Colorado all of it's life (no salt = no rust) triple locked 1997 LX450 with 278k.I fixed the things that were quirky or wrong with it AND sourced or replaced the items needed to get it as close to perfect for a 278k mile rig (Please see long list of repairs completed). EVERYTHING works on this truck (AC/ Heat/Seats/Cruise Control/Lockers) and it is EXTREMELY capable. It seems ridiculous to some that I would put so much time into this rig only to sell it on but I saw something shiny and I want that. The wife says I can only have 2 cars at a time. Full disclosure:In the trucks prior life/s the owner backed into something damaging the original rear bumper and denting both upper and lower tailgates. I have sourced rust free upper and lower tail gates and they will go with the truck. There are 2 rust spots on the "A" pillar to the left and right of the windshield. I was concerned when I bought the truck but the seller put me at ease with the last picture posted. It shows a clean, rust free windshield channel. He took this photo right before Safelite installed the color match glass. I will offer $200 off your plane ticket to get the truck or $200 off the actual cost of shipping the vehicle to you (I use a reliable shipping broker that will crush most bids) as long as bids reach at least 14k.Here are the fun bits added within the last few months:-All LED lighting: door panel lights, head liner lights, corner marker lights and clear turn signal lights-Brand new Radiator (stock had a leak-Brand new TJM Gold long travel shocks.-Old Man Emu 850 front springs, 863 rear springs.-Brand new Dobinsons caster correction bushes.-Slee sway bar drop kit.-Brand new cap/rotor/wires/plugs.-Front seat leather from a low mileage Cruiser with no rips to replace the ripped units on the truck.-Brand new Snorkel kit.-Cladding deleted and Raptor liner installed.-Pocket flares.-Rear armor bumper with 2 swing outs (tire carrier and Ladder/Jerry can combo). -Trail Gear front winch bumper (will accommodate most winches up to 9500lbs with hawse lead).5 Toyota FJ cruiser wheels with BRAND NEW (500 MILES) 255 75/17 BF Goodrich MUD-TERRAIN T/A KM. These rims will give you a ton of tire options and in the current configuration, the speedometer is DEAD ON accurate Maintenance completed in the last year.- Birfs were leaking and I found a donor front axle to build over time (when I had time) now installed . - A local Toyota shop (A&H Auto Care in Englewood) installed a brand-new manifold-back exhaust including a brand-new catalytic converter. - Brand new windshield installed by Safelite Auto Glass with the proper bronze tint that matches the rest of the glass (no rust in glass channel...see last pic taken during install) - Replaced the rear knock sensor and repairing the harness so it would resolve a CEL it had when I got it as well as pass emissions (passed with flying colors) - Repaired the oil pressure gauge sender harness and it's now functional (although reads low, which is common these trucks) - Replaced the Heater Control Valve (HCV) as the truck had no heat when I got it - heat blows perfectly and the AC works great as well! - Replaced the driver's side headlight - Replaced the passenger side tail light - Replaced both front turn signal lights - Installed new Pioneer speakers in all 4 doors - radio sounds great and the antenna is also functional - Installed new windshield wipers - Installed LED dome lights, turn signals, and LED-friendly turn signal relay - FAR brighter both inside and out - New battery 4/17-New air filter-Pesky heater hose replaced
