All low mileage, quality parts. No issues. Turnkey car that is road worthy as well as track focused. Never dyno'd. You can do some research and estimate HP output. But I have not tested it and can't provide a true HP number. Payment due in full within 7 days of auction end. Cashiers check or Cash only. I can assist with shipping and can store the car for a reasonable time frame to accommodate the new owner's needs. Feel free to email me and I can call or text you with your specific questions or concerns. Thank you and have fun bidding! GeoffOn Aug-12-17 at 16:00:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for your interest. Here are the answers to your questions: 1. There are no immediate needs mechanically with the miata. I would recommend a general fluid service i.e. engine oil change and coolant. The car last had the oil and coolant changed in October 2016 when it went to it's last track day. It's been in storage since. The timing belt service was done in 2008, at 85k miles old. Brakes pads have lots of life left. Tires have a lot of tread remaining, 8/32. But have been cycled, so if you are going to be competitive racing or TT, I would suggest new tires. But if you're going to do a casual HPDE, then these will do just fine. The clutch grabs like new. Never launched. Never beat up. 2. Yes the heater and vents are all intact and they function well. It's only the AC that was removed. 3. Steering wheel is removable. It has a NRG quick release system making it easier to get in and out of the car. 4. Yes, the body was cut to give an ample amount of clearance for the wheels and tires. They were professionally done. And they are very smooth. If you were to run your finders under the wheel well, you won't get cut up. Very well done. I've attached a bunch of photos below for your review. 5. There is a hairline crack in the driver side front fender flare. It happened many years ago, prior to even tracking the car. It has not gotten worse, nor does it seem like it has weakened. It's just something I wanted to disclose. 6. The XIDA-S may be a bit soft in their current settings, and can be tuned to be more stiff if you desire. This was very much a street car, and although it looks like a full on track car, it was babied and never abused. Never launched. Never drifted. If you want to take it further, more boost and a big rear wing would put it over the top. My 58 year old father drove it on the track the most. And he is very much a novice-beginner run groups. He's by no means fast. But it was great watching him slowly improve, as this car allows you to run lap after lap reliably. Thanks very much for your interest.
