Finally bought myself a brand new car after 13 years, so I'm selling one. This one is a runner. Solid motor with some dents, scratches and paint chips on exterior but interior is in good shape. All power items (windows, radio, locks) are in working order. This car starts right up and runs cool. The radiator lets off some coolant. We top off the coolant periodically. The engine also burns a little oil which we also check every 2 weeks or so (top off with about a 1/4 of a quart depending how much it's driven).This car has a lot of miles on it but this Toyota model is known for lasting a long time. Have seen these with over 400,000 miles on them. Car passed emissions in April of this year, so it is good until at least April of 2019. Buyers are welcome to call me at 815-463-6251 and the car is up for viewing (test drive if have a current drivers license). Check engine light is on, so I took the car over to Autozone and it popped up 3 codes. See attached photo of codes. PO441, PO446 and PO440. I found it odd as the car runs great, so I took it to Merlins and spoke to a mechanic about the codes. He advised these are not codes that will leave you stranded it will just cause an issue at emissions time. It could be as simple as a new OEM gas cap. New OEM gas cap was recently installed but may take time to clear code. I also attached a photo of my most recent emissions test to show that the car is good on emissions until at least April 30th, 2019. From what I understand the emissions may also be extended based on transfer of title and new plates being purchased. So the car is probably good for roughly 2 years. If you are looking for simple transportation for a couple years this car will do the trick. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the vehicle.
