Vehicle Detail

FEATURES: Rare combination of the short bed +bonus-load +3/4 ton + 4x4, Originally equipped with SV304 engine, was replaced by IH factory remanufactured SV392 in approx 1978, 4speed manual (T16) transmission with front PTO, FA-15(Dana 44)4.09 front axle, RA17 (Dana 60)4.10 rear axle, rear aux leaf springs, Deluxe trim package, custom PTO winch bumper, dual gas tanks, custom camper shell HISTORY: 1968- Ordered from factory by owner of car dealership and hunter in Reno, NV for his personal hunting rig. (not worked to death on a farm like most of these)2013- Brought back into good mechanical working order and wheels blasted and powder coated, installed new tires by 2nd owner 2014- Purchased by me. We drove it home from Vancouver WA to Southern CA. I stripped it to bare metal and all rot cut out from cowl vents, cab corners and fenders and replaced with fresh sheet metal (floors were previously replaced). Frame cleaned up and painted. Wiring harness replaced. New windshield and seal, new rear window seal, seat reupholstered. Old cracked dashpad replaced with one that is about 8.5/10 (no cracks but 2 small punctures). Painted in original Aspen Green with base/clear (Paint is driver quality with a few small nicks since). Gas tanks cleaned and coated with POR15, 2 part epoxy bedliner. What it still needs to be complete: Bumpers restored and installed. Custom Warn winch bumper with rear stock and additional stock front bumper in good shape are included. ( I do not have the cab controls for the PTO winch) Headliner needed, misc interior trim reinstalled. Leaf springs could use a rebuild (rt rear sags) New shocks. Gauges still need to be sorted. They are mismatched. Passenger side gas tank is not hooked up. Camper shell is included if desired ( in the condition as shown in the picture). I have been driving it on occasional weekends and on Home Depot runs. It is at about 97 % complete, but all the major work has been done. It fires right up, drives and stops as it should. Its just waiting for the next owner to bring it across the finish line. I am selling it because I have to make room for my Scout and Travelall. This is not a Show truck. As I have said the paint and body work is "driver quality" and I have disclosed all the issues known to me Please ask any questions before bidding, not after you have won the auction. I can provide additional pictures or information upon request. Please contact me prior to bidding if you have zero feedback history. Buyer will have to arrange shipping from 90808 zip code Clear CA title in my name.
