This listing is for a very clean, well maintained, and low mileage 2003 Mustang GT convertible w/ 5 speed manual transmission. The car is a two owner, but family owned since new. My brother purchased the car new from Bill Collins Ford in Louisville, KY and owned it for 10 years. I have owned it the last 4 years. The car has just under 71,500 miles with no accidents and no engine modifications. The car is extremely clean, in great cosmetic shape and excellent mechanical condition. Major systems such as air conditioner and convertible top are in working order. I am only selling this car because the kids are getting too tall and it's time for something bigger. The car has the following modifications: 18" Saleen replica wheels w/ wheel locks and Nitto 555 tires Ford Motorsport B springsCaster camber plates Original 40 series Flowmaster's welded in to the factory exhaust Classic Design Concepts Lightbar Mach 1 replica grill and front chin spoiler JVC single CD head unit w/ MP3, USB, Bluetooth, iPhone cable, and hands free calling Infinity Basslink Subwoofer (installed but no longer working) Front bumper was replace a few years ago with an aftermarket one because of paint fading in the grill area. I still have the factory front bumper and grill if interested. The factory hood scoop and rear spoiler where just professionally refinished due to fading/peeling clear coat To set expectations, this car has been used as daily driver, not as a show car. As such it does have some nicks, scratches, paint imperfections, and a few small dings very much in line with the age of the vehicle. I have attempted to capture the most significant ones in the full sun pictures, some of which include: The hood has several chips that have been touched up. This is a very common problem with the factory composite hood for this generation Mustang. It looks ok from 5 feet but you can see them when you are up close The trunk has about 1" scratch above the GT logo There are two small dents on the passenger side rear quarter panel There are two small dents on the front driver side fender behind the headlight There is small, rough clear-coat spot on passenger door, by side mirror that showed up shortly after it was new but has not gotten any worse The rear bumper and side scoops have some paint imperfections The windshield wiper cowl has a crack on passenger side There are some other cosmetic and mechanical items worth pointing out. Again, all of these are in-line with the age of the vehicle: Small rip in passenger side rear seat Some noticeable wear on driver's seat and shift knob Floormats are included, but they are not in the best shape Rear tires tread have some ozone cracking I have on a couple of occasions spotted some light water dripping in on the passenger side window/door panel and rear window/vinyl package tray area during monsoon rains The spare tire has not been used but has been patched as the subwoofer installer punctured the tire during installation All this said, the car looks fantastic and turns heads! It is fun to drive and has been very dependable. I only point out the items above to give an accurate description of the car so you can purchase with confidence.
