I am selling this car for a family friend. This is a private sale. Any questions beyond what I describe in the ad will be referred to the current owner. This 1984 Mercedes 380SL is in fantastic condition. It was purchased in 2003 from a dealer in Florida. Since it has been in Massachusetts it has been a summer cruiser only. No winters and I don't think it ever got wet! In the 14 years he has owned it he has only put a little over 10,000 miles on it. The car has had a lot of recent work done to it:1. Oil and filter changed every year event though hardly driven2. Transmission replaced 3. Two timing chains4. Complete exhaust system5. Radiator flush6. Two cam shafts with rockers7. Complete tune up 8. Fuel pump and filter9. Motor and transmission mounts.10. BrakesThe body of this car is pretty close to mint. I can't find any scratches dings or imperfections. The top is in like new condition. The tires and wheels are in excellent condition. The interior is mint except for a small crack in the top of the dash. The owner of this car is in his 70's and is not driving it anymore and decided it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
