Vehicle Detail
1972 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE CAFÉ RACER T120 650cc VIN: AG45553 I’m selling my prized 1972 Triumph Bonneville T120 650cc. This Café Racer, is a complete numbers matching bike in excellent running condition. No expense was spared restoring this classic bike and it has been stored and driven with the upmost of care in my climate controlled auto warehouse, alongside some of the most exotic cars in the world. When I first purchased this amazing bike we put it through a first class restoration, including: 1. Having the Frame Stripped and Painted Black 2. Updated Triple Tree (Steering Neck) with Roller Bearings Installed 3. Replaced All Wiring with the Correct Cloth Covered Wire Harness 4. New Electronic Ignition 5. Updated Ignition Switch 6. Tympanium Voltage Regulator 7. New Battery 8. New Spark Plugs 9. Taylor Pro Spark Plug Wires 10. Speedometer 11. Amal 930 Dual Carbs 12. Carb Gasket Kit 13. Velocity Stacks 14. Valve Cover Gaskets (Valve Adjustment Completed) 15. Megaphone Complete Exhaust from Heads Back 16. Oil Change (High Zinc Oil) 17. New Front Wheel Bearings 18. Chrome Cafe Race Seat with Spare Seat Included 19. Updated Side Covers 20. New Spokes for Wheels Along with the restoration, I purchased a bunch of extra parts for the bike as I found them. All extra parts, books, and manuals will be included in the sale to the winning bidder. These include extra parts include: 1. A Complete Frame 2. A Padded Café Racer Style Leather Seat 3. Straight Pipe Exhaust Pipes (Extra Loud) 4. Original Triumph Owners Handbook 5. Original Triumph Replacement Parts Catalogue 6. Complete Wiring Manual 7. New Wire Spokes for the Wheels 8. And a Bunch of Additional Extra Parts I’ve Picked Up Along the Way This classic Café Racer drives great and looks great. The Triumph 650cc pull strong and is still the beast it was when it was winning MotoGP races back in the 70’s. This is a strong bike. Cosmetically, the matte black paint looks great. The chrome café racer seat looks amazing and gets compliments everywhere I go. The only blemish is a golf ball size dent on the top of the gas tank. From the side of the bike it isn’t that noticeable, but from sitting on it and from standing over it, it is. I’m sure you could bring it in to have it pulled, but honestly it never bothered me enough to deal with it. I wouldn’t be selling the bike, except my wife is pregnant, and we made a deal that if we were to have a child, I’d give up the motorcycle. We talked about it. I lost. I have to keep my promise (if I want to keep my house). Bikes this age typically don’t have titles, they simply come with a bill of sale and are difficult to title and register. I HAVE A LEIN FREE, CLEAR FL TITLE, AND BILL OF SALE! I included a few pictures of the VIN on engine and frame, as you can see everything matches (as it does on the FL title as well). As I stated, I am not a dealer. I’m an avid auto collector (as you can see from some of the pictures), that includes mainly cars and a few (and unfortunately, soon to be no more) bikes. – I AM allowed to keep the cars! Please ask all questions before bidding, you can contact me directly at 813-551-2945. This is a terrific once in a lifetime chance to own a fully restored Triumph Café Racer. I will not deal with the scam artists out there. You will not be disappointed in this bike, please let’s not make this process more difficult than it has to be. I will help coordinate shipping, but the cost will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will also include all of my receipts and notes and extra parts and tools that I have in the sale. I want her to have a good home and to be taken care of. Thanks for looking and good luck.
