Good running 1979 Jeep CJ7 up for auction. This Jeep has an excellent running 304 V8 engine with a 3-speed automatic transmission and quadra-trac transfer case. It does not have manual hubs. It has a vacuum operated switch for full time 4 wheel drive that is part of the quadra-trac option. Engine fires up the 1st time everytime and does not smoke or rattle. It runs really good and holds 40 to 50 lbs of oil pressure. The Jeep has a new set of headers and side exhaust, oil change, filter, all fluids topped off,lubed all grease fittings, new valve cover gaskets also. It has a spring over lift with 33x12.50x15 tires. The Jeep has manual steering and disc brakes. Front fenders have been replaced with rust free fenders. The Jeep will need some bodywork if winning bidder decides to paint it. The front floorpans have been replaced, but not professionally. The frame at the rear will need some repair also. It does have some rust thru. 4 wheel drive hardware makes a complete kit to repair the CJ frames for $169 online. I would consider this Jeep as a running driving project. You can drive it as is and work on it along as time permits. All the gauges except the fuel gauge work. Headlights, tail lights and dash lights work. The Jeep comes with a black soft top and doors and all the hardware. It also has a bikini top on it now. The seats are driver quality with the drivers side showing some wear.
