You are bidding on a rare 1999 ATK 605DT factory "Dirt Tracker" in really nice shape,and that has been converted to "street legal" status with a clear PA title in my name.Here are the details: These bikes were the factory dirt track version of the ATK 605 series of bikes from the mid to late 1990s.They feature a Rotax 605 single cylinder engine that pulls strong & are extremely bullet proof.Mated to a 5-speed tranny to put the power to the ground.I bought this bike from the original owner out of New Hampshire whom had set it up for street legal use with turn signals,brake lights,horn,& lighting front & back.When I got it titled in PA.,I had to add a front fender(UFO),and a mirror.At the same time,I installed a NOS rear fender,and new factory gas tank decals & swingarm decals.The handlebars are brand new Renthal replacements,along with OURY grips.I also installed an electronic speedo/odometer for reference.The Supertrapp exhaust is factory original.Tires were also replaced with new Dunlops.The seat is also factory new,as the previous owner had an extra stock seat reupholstered for additional heighth,and never used the original. Mechanically,the cam belt was replaced within the last 75 miles,as were the spark plug,air filter,and oil & filter.Original Dellorto carb was rebuilt,and new throttle cable installed.The bike fires up with the choke when cold with the electric starter,and settles down to a nice idle after about 3-4 minutes.After that she's ready to roll,and what a blast!This bike is extremely light in weight,and a blast to ride on the road.Handles like its on a rail,and the full floating front brake stops it with ease.What a fun bike. The aluminum rims are in great shape.The previous owner welded a cross brace at the front bottom of the lower subframe for whatever reason.This can be easily taken off,but I never messed with it.
