1990 Volkswagen CabrioletAmazing Condition - Estate Owned Car75,878 Actual Miles History: I recently had the opportunity to purchase this car from my neighbors estate. She owned the car for many years and only drove it on occasion during nice weather days. The car looks, runs and drives amazing. I would put it up against any Cabrio in the country! Someone has the opportunity here to own an amazing example of automotive history and have a blast cruising the open roads! Mechanically: This car is about as solid as they can come. You will not believe its 27 years old when you get behind the wheel. I don't believe I have ever owned a car with historic tags that I would let my wife get in and drive to Florida and not worry, this car I would. We have put nearly 600 miles on it and just got back from a 200+ mile trip. Drive this car ANYWHERE! All I did when I got the car was put in a new battery, change the oil (20w-50 Pennzoil) and replace the coolant. Other than that I have just drove it! The tires have 90% tread. Car has a 5 speed manual transmission that shifts out great as well. Electronically: Everything on the car works as it should. All the lights, signals, horn, AM/FM Cassette, airbag, speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, temp gauge, volt gauge and power windows. Cosmetic: This car is a very fine example of a Cabriolet and classic Volkswagen. You cant drive this car anywhere with people stopping you. The pictures speak for themselves, you will be hard pressed to find a finer example of a Cabriolet. I don't know a whole lot about the history of this car but I would have to believe the interior and top has been replaced, it looks too good to be original. I think there was some paint work as well at some point, however I believe it was for cosmetic only as the car has a perfectly clean carfax. The wheels are aftermarket as well, they are ICW Racing Wheels. Known issues: I am always 100% honest as you can see from my perfect feedback rating of nearly 800 items. The only thing this car needs is a cruise control module, parking brake cable, A/C charged and minor top adjustment (wind noise). None of these effect the car and can be enjoyed just is or fixed at your leisure. Terms: $500 non refundable deposit due 24 hours after auction ends via paypal. Car must be picked up with 14 days unless other arrangements are made. If other arrangements are made car must still be paid for in full within 14 days. Car is sold as is where is.
