Third owner of a fast bike which was well maintained; NOT A TOY! All oil, air filter, spark plug, and brake pads replacement were done on time. Next servicing is at 26,000 miles when all the above will need to be changed again. Then at 30,000 when a new chain and valve adjustment will need to be completed. The bike was in a minor accident which broke off the left foot peg holder, bent the front right brake rotor and also put a small leak on the radiator cover. The leak on the the radiator was so small so it was sealed with JB weld. The front brake rotors was replaced with these high performance brakes and the gear shifter holder was welded on. (See pictures) The bike has 24,XXX miles but the engine which is an 06 engine has 19,XXX miles. It was replaced by the 2nd owner before I purchased it. I have the receipt for all the major changes in parts and will be glad to provide that to you at purchase if requested. The bike has no other issues. I last rode it on June 23, 2017 for about three hours to test it before listing it for sale. For the first hour I stayed in first gear to get the bike really hot; the JB weld was strong enough to hold the pressure in the radiator. The other two hours were for pure joy. This is a great bike and I really want to keep it however, I'm looking for a GSXR 1000 and I don't want both at the time so it has to go. Buyer is responsible for pick and or shipping charges.
