I have owned this car since 1989 and I have I am very familiar with all it's quirks. The main reason I am selling the car is the rear cross member, which supports the rear differential, is rusted and I cannot get it to pass inspection without getting the cross member replaced. It is not a numbers matching car. Some of the body work on the front clip suggests that it may have been in a minor accident. The fiber optics was cut by someone before I acquired the car. The rear electrical harness was replaced and the rear fiber optics was removed at that time. The engine and transmission work fine. There is a slight vibration caused by the flywheel which may be slightly bent. The bell housing has a piece missing from the lowest area when it may have hit something due to the cars low stance. The headlights are in the up position because when they are down and I turn the headlights on, one of the lights gets hung up on the clip surrounding the headlight cover. I had the frame stiffened and welded, both sides, just ahead of the rear tires and when they finished the work the convertible top frame did not fit very well in the rear retaining holes. The convertible top frame clamps down on the windshield frame. The canvas top needs to be replaced. It was very rare I had the top up anyway as I only drove it on nice days. The front driver side rug could be replaced. Lastly, the front and rear suspension components need to be refreshed. The rear traverse leaf spring is in good condition. The tires are all in good condition with low miles on the them. The windshield and windshield wiper motor have been replaced. The radio/cassette player is after market.
