Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool 1966 Austin Mark 1 Mini Countryman Estate. She is a near twin to the Morris Mini Traveller. This is the one you want in the right colour and with the right upgrades. She was recently traded to us from a very well cared stable of other fine British cars in Arizona. RarityMini Cooper fans will tell you this is the one you want. Thousands were produced yet relatively few remain in the wild today. Our research shows few outside of England and far fewer Left Hand Drive. The Mini Traveller and Countryman Register was created in 2009 to help locate and preserve the remaining Mini Traveller and Countryman cars. ExteriorWe think the paint is gorgeous. There are some flaws noticeable upon close inspection. Please review the video and see the photos. The wood is in overall good to excellent condition with one visible small area of decay in the upper passenger rear quarter area. Beautiful chrome and accents. Minator Minilite style wheels really add to the look. Fitted for a US license plate. The exterior door hinges and sliding windows validate this Mark 1 car. InteriorBeautiful interior upholstery, carpet, dash, headliner and door panels. Classic British wood and billet Mountney steering wheel. Nice dash. Wood shift knob. Seat belts for five. The warranted replacement is now installed and is slightly different in appearance than the one in the photos.Yes, those are seat bolsters placed under the rear seat track. The gentleman who owned the car ahead of us was short in stature and these were made to raise the seat slightly for his comfort.
