Great summer project. 1978 right hand drive AMC postal mail jeep. CLEAR TITLE and current registration. NEEDS TLC. Does NOT RUN. Sold AS-IS where is. Must be towed away. Last time I started and drove the Jeep was about 10 years ago. It started and ran back then, however it has been sitting covered for a decade. Had issue where pulley was grinding on motor, not sure reason, possibly a bad motor mount not sure, that's why I originally stopped driving the vehicle. Can see pulley in close up pictures. Lots of rust as its almost 40 years old. The frame seems to be solid, however the body (tub) of the jeep is rusted threw in parts, please see photos. Straight 6 cylinder engine. Not sure millage as odometer only has 5 digits so it could have rolled over, however it said 80,000 miles when I bought the jeep 15 years ago. Just sold my house and need to get rid of my project jeep and don't have a new place to store it. So hopefully it will become someone's new restore project. PICK UP ONLY. Located in Iowa City, Iowa.
