Vehicle Detail

1959 Edsel Ranger 4-Door Sedan. Engine is straight-six 223 cid, 2-speed automatic transmission. I bought it with the wrong carb but I have the correct Holly 1-barrel (glass) that comes with this car (part of my price). I meant to restore it but I have too many other priorities. Turned over and ran with carb cleaner (no smoke). I will not put gas in it because I don't know how long it will take to sell. Body is in good condition. Battery is dead. I think it may have had some work done on it in the past as the "Ranger" emblems on the rear of the car are missing but you can see where the mounting holes were from inside the trunk. Tires are in great shape. I do not know the condition of everything else: brakes, fuel pump, oil pump, transmission, etc. As I said, I was going to tear this car apart and rebuild it. There are NO KEYS but the title is clear. Has been garaged for the past 3 years and was in a barn before that. Front and back formed windshields have no cracks. I am sure this car could be made into a runner quickly for someone with the right skills, otherwise this is a great car for restoration. I have many manuals that go with it. I will not part this car out so please don't ask. Mileage has probably rolled over and is actually 127,177 miles. I can't tell you for sure. Sold as is. Forgot to mention that I have the horn ring and the over-the-side air filter intake assembly. Pictures added of the motor and interior as well as the VIN plate. I will try to get a trunk picture added by Friday evening. The trunk is in good shape - no rust thrus. The rust you see is light surface rust that was caused by a poor paint job. You can see the manuals and the correct carb on the front seat in one of the photos.
