1951 Chevrolet Chevy Fleetline 2 two Door Coupe Fastback Deluxe This is a 1951 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe (two Door Coupe Mild Custom). Nosed, Decked, Trimmed, Visor. "Traditional 50's Kustom" Begins great, drives good and stops very well. It has a serviced and upgraded engine from a 1960 Chevrolet 235 Inline 6 New Carter 1brl carburettor, great on fuel. All new 12-volt cloth wiring harness with modern fuse block. New Mallory Uni-light Distributor with cloth wrapped plug wires. New plug wires, New 12v battery Rebuilt starter. New Aluminum Radiator Zirgo Hi-Flo push fan Manual transmission gear selection is made with the original 3 speed on the tree column shifter, good clutch. Upgraded with a Power Glide rear end. New Coker 5.60 15" Wide White Wall tires Rare Stainless 56 Lyons Full Wheel Covers. The frame has been notched and bridged in the rear Air ride, Viair Compressor and tank. Deluxe Steering wheel. The side glass is new with rebuilt regulators, Windshield and the rest of the glass is good - chip and crack free. The body and rockers have no visible rust or rot. The body is very straight and solid Candy Rootbeer with a Metallic Gold Suede Hood. The paint job is a couple of years old that shows very well but does have some flaws (See close up pictures). The Dash is a metallic gold lace/laced. Very solid floors and trunk. Ready to ride! A good driver that will get attention, indeed! This two door "Fastback - Jetback" Feet Line is a California car. Many new and upgraded parts. Many of the accessories are kustom pieces. This Classic is titled and registered as a 1951 Chev DLX (odometer is exempt but estimated at 20,000 on the rebuilt engine) with a clear Texas title with a visible Vin#.
