New Page 1 OLDSMOBILE AURORA 4.0L V8 ALL OPTIONS W/MOONROOF LOW MILES NON SMOKER 100% RUST FREE EXCELLENT SERVICE HISTORY With the Oldsmobile brand now falling farther and farther in the rear-view mirror, these cars are now beginning to get some attention. If you are a fan of cars from this era, you can certainly appreciate the beautiful styling of the Oldsmobile Aurora. This top of the line 4.0L V8 '98 model is in exceptional original condition and is loaded with every possible option available for that model year. On top of the basic power options like power windows, door locks, tilt, cruise, etc. this car has the factory moonroof, dual power heated seats, driver/passenger climate control, power lumbar and memory seating and a premium Bose Acoustimass audio system w/factory subwoofer. On top of all that, it has the dealer installed "Arizona" edition which is not really a big add-on but makes it unique. That includes the chromed alloy wheels, window tint, gold accents and a custom Southwest style "Aurora" insignia and stripe. Plus, the car is quite complete with all factory floor mats, cargo net, spare tire w/tools, owners manual, both sets of keys and factory keyless entry remotes. The car is 100% corrosion free and all intact with everything in good working order. Please review the 100 photos below that include several of the undercarriage so you can see the car is genuinely clean with no rust and shows that it has not sustained any major damage. The body of the car is nice and straight with no major dings, dents or scratches. There was a group of chips and a scuff on the front bumper cover that I had touched up as well as a scuff on the rear bumper above the license plate, if you wanted this car to be closer to perfect you could spend the $300 to professionally refinish them but the car still looks really nice and in order to keep the price reasonable I opted to just touch that up. There are a few stone chips on the left front fender and obviously being a '98 there are a few tiny blemishes to be expected but the paint is all shiny and looks really nice. Glass is intact, there are a few minor chips on the front windshield, sides and rears are tinted and while the tint is a bit older it looks really good on the car, no bubbling or major signs of discoloration, again an easy re-do if you command perfection. All Lights and lenses are intact, the rear elongated tail lamp lens has the typical hairline cracks along the top but are not noticeable from a few feet away and all lighting is fully functional including the fog-lamps. The car has top quality Michelin tires all the way around and look to be about 70% or better and are evenly worn, chrome wheels are in excellent shape and have all four center caps. The interior of the car is exceptional and it is all original. The car smells of fresh leather inside with absolutely no evidence of it ever being smoked in, no burns etc. No pet or musty odors either. The dash, door panels, console, carpeting, headliner are all in excellent original condition, leather is all supple and soft with only the driver's seat really showing any wear but as you can see in the photos, no rips, tears or seam separation. All functions appear to be in working order, even the moonroof and power antenna function properly. I did not test the CD or cassette feature but the radio sound really nice, it's amazing that the Bose Acoustimass sound system is better than most of today's cars! A/C blows cold and there are no broken console, glove box or ashtray doors. Mechanically this 4.0L is pretty strong. The Dex-Cool in the reservoir is nice and clean meaning it has not had any stop-leak or any additives put in it like you find in a lot of them. You can see in my picture of the gauge cluster, the car is running and this is at an idle after running some errands here in 109 degree Phoenix traffic with the A/C on, it won't go past 220 so I have found no overheating issues. The car does not appear to exhibit any leaks either, no smell of oil from the valve covers etc. The car runs well, transmission shifts nicely and the car holds the road nicely with those Michelins, a nice car to drive. There are not many of these cars really left, especially with lower miles, every conceivable option and with absolutely zero rust. Never mind a car that is fully functional and compete with all keys, mats, etc. This car is a great buy at my price of $3950 and I don't feel like it should bring much less but if you feel like you have to beat me up for a buck or two to think you really stole it, I have put the "Best Offer" feature on here and I will consider strong offers from real buyers. No, I will not take half price, there are some high mile, V6 base model rust-buckets available for $1500 or so you can go buy but as you know, you get what you pay for. Remember, the nice ones aren't cheap....and the cheap ones aren't nice.
