Vehicle Detail

Up for your consideration is an oil-injected Bridgestone 90 Trail bike (1966 model). A somewhat rare bike - US distributor was in Rockford, IL. I have owned this bike for maybe 10 years now. It was a barn find in very, very rough shape when I bought it. I undertook the restoration right after purchase and moved on to larger displacement bikes before completing it. It has been staring at me in the shop for 8 years, waiting for me to spend a Saturday wrapping it up, but every time I clear the lift, I end up putting something I'm really excited about on, and the Bridgestone continues to jealously observe me giving my time and attention to other iron horses. This motorcycle is not currently running. Here is everything you might want to know about it: GOOD:The bike has been completely disassembled. Frame and sheet metal were sandblasted, primed and painted with acrylic enamel. The tank was professionally boiled out and sealed. The bike is complete. There are no missing parts, and only 1 aftermarket part (mirror). Even the seat is original.Wheels completely rebuilt - laced with new spokes and trued.Brand new tires that have never been ridden on.The motor was completely gone through. New rings put in. New seals. Carburetor cleaned in a hot ultrasonic tank and serviced. Oil injector cleaned. New fuel/oil lines. Transmission cleaned. All new rubber (most not yet installed) - foot pegs, grips, etc.New brake pads.New cables.New points/condenser.Extra miscellaneous parts.Have original owners manual.4,756 original miles.Clean Wisconsin title.Richard's Relics has every part for this motorcycle in stock if you should ever need something. BAD:The motorcycle does not run. Despite new points and condenser, there is no spark. The paintwork has some nicks here and there from me moving this bike out of the way over the years. I have the paint on hand, as well as the paint codes.Battery included, but probably dead. Uses a common 6v battery (available anywhere).Small tear in the original seat cover that has been addressed with black electrical tape (redneck upholstery).Forks may need rebuilding if you are 200+ lbs. You or your shipper may pick this motorcycle up in southern Wisconsin. I can get it anywhere within 100 miles of where I live.
