I've had this car for over 10 years and she's been EXTREMELY dependable. A mechanic told me that the engine is strong and she should last a long time. The power steering pump was replaced last year, so the steering is very good. Timing belt was also recently replaced. She had only 50,000 miles when I got her and I've done my best take care of her. As with many old cars there is a slow coolant leak and a very slow oil leak. It's never been a problem for me. I've regularly had the oil changed every several months and I keep antifreeze in the car and add some every few months. She's been shaking a lot lately and making some noise. I was told the rack needs to be replaced, which is about $300 if you take it to a shop. She died at a stop light the other, day but started back up again. I have no idea what caused it, and I do NOT recommend taking her on long drives until that's looked at. As far as cosmetic issues there is a dent in the passenger side door. My imbecile of a designated driver got too close to a steel beam and scraped the side. The interior has some wear and tear from age. I can honestly say that when I bought this car it was a worthwhile purchase and I've never regretted it.
