Well I gave it a shot. Promised the wife if she still didn't like the color when it got here then I'd sell it and find a blue one. So... up for sale is a beautiful rust free 1959 Impala Bubbletop Sedan fresh out of TX dry storage. Was repainted in the original Gothic Gold/White combo. Interior is OG and in pretty decent shape - door panels, kick panels and windlace could use some work if you wanted - Dash has a mild patina from the TX sun. Factory 283 4bbl and Powerglide. ICE COLD AC from the dealer installed "knee-knocker" unit. Factory PS car. All factory impala trim is in place. All chrome is in very good shape, minor pitting on front bumper accessory bar. All doors open and close smoothly with no sagging. All glass is crack free and in good shape - minor delamination on front vent windows like normal. Aftermarket CD player with AUX hidden in glovebox. Updated speakers also you can jam out while cruising. Just completed a 2 hour cruise. This '59 runs and drives very well. All lights are in proper working order. Brakes have been gone through. The car could use a thorough detail after being stored. Included with sale is a brand new wiper motor and switch, brand new fender skirts, brand new rear trunk emblem, and brand new rear window Venetian Blind set.
