1963 Falcon Futura Hardtop. Its the rare Hardtop model and a very solid driver that looks really nice. Paint is in pretty good shape even close up. It has the 170 with the 2 speed auto tranny. The car came from the Sandhills area of NC so it has pretty much no rust. Just a little surface underneath and a little on top of the passenger floor pan where it looks like the windshield leaked some. No rust through anywhere I can find. Look at the underneath pictures. Solid as a rock. Someone bumped me in the parking lot on the drivers side. It isn't bad at all but I added pictures so their are no surprises when you get it. It has the 170 and it runs well. I will ad that when I got it it had 3- 1 barrel carbs on it but only the middle carb was working, the other two were huge vacuum leaks so I pulled off the old eldebrock intake and put it back to 1 carb. It still has the holes in the intake runner for the other carbs if you wanted to go that route. I fabbed up plates and epoxied them in place to cover the holes for now. I have driven it about 3,000 miles like that with no problems. Just want to be honest about what you're getting. Car runs real well. Has electronic ignition. Has coil overs in the front so it can be raised and lowered and lowering blocks in the rear. Car drives down the road really well. It has the scarebird front disk brake conversion on it. The mastercylinder seeps some so you will want to change it. I was going to convert to a dual bowl but I have a newborn and too many projects to get to it right now. Brakes stop great. Trunk is painted the original color with original trunk mat and is as solid as a rock. This really is a fantastic car. It kills me to get rid of it because I spent a long time looking for a hardtop this solid but I ran across a sprint hardtop that is almost as solid so this one has to go now. I drove it 4 hours from where I used to live in Raleigh with no problems but it is an old car so I would recommend trailering it if you have the means. The interior is in pretty decent condition. The dash and doors are painted nicely. The upholstery is original and looks OK but I was going to replace it. The passenger door panel is shot and the headliner has a couple seams separating. The front seat is decent but the back has a split on top. I do however have all new door panels for it just not installed. It has new felt on all windows except the quarters. I have them. Just not installed. It also has new rail seals. All the glass is good. No Cracks and just just a little fog starting on the bottom of the windshield.
