2004 Ford F-150 Super-Cab Lariat 4-door, 2-Wheel Drive 100,477 Original Miles. Almost all highway mileage, driven carefully from Grandview to Dallas on a weekly basis by a 65yr old Physician. 2nd Owner Clear Blue Texas Title, In My Name! Never Wrecked! Inside of bed is carpeted, sliding windows, locking hatch with original keys. Cost $3000 new New Michelin Tires in 2016 ($1500) Receipts for all oil changes and routine service/maintenance at various Ford Dealers. Oil changed every 3K like clockwork at the dealer. Major Service done at 65K in August 2015 at Park Cities Ford. Spent over $7,000 (with receipts) Both exhaust manifold gaskets were replaced on the engine, brake rotors (4), brake calipers (4), brake pads (4), transmission power flush with filter, rear differential fluid evacuated and replaced, with the correct motorcraft LS additive put in, coolant flushed and refilled, power steering and brake fluid was changed, A/C system recharged, right front control arm replaced, battery, filters, new Michelin tires Unfortunately, on 4/17/17, the "Camshaft Phasers" let go on the 5.4 Triton Engine and now the "Check Engine Light" is flashing when you attempt to drive the truck. This is a "very common" failure on the 5.4L Triton engine. This one made it 100,400 careful miles and never missed an oil change, yet they still failed. The top end of the engine will need to be rebuilt/replaced ($1600+) or you can swap the engine. It still runs and drives (I drove it home 15+ miles once the light came on) but it has a bad misfire on 4 cylinders and shouldn't be driven in its current state. It will need to be towed or trailered home to prevent damage to the engine and catalytic converter. It starts right up and will drive onto a trailer without issue. There are two small-ish door dings in the drivers side door, and a small door ding on the passengers side rear door. There is a crack in the passenger side mirror. The paint looks good but up close there are minor scratches visible. Truck shows "less than average" wear and tear, but is not a new vehicle, rather a 13yr old used vehicle. Otherwise, the truck is in great shape inside and out, especially for one that's 13yrs old with 100K miles on it. The suspension is tight, there are no rattles inside or out. There are absolutely 0 fluid leaks. This was a very nice running/driving truck until the camshaft phaser failure. Fix it, part it out, either way I'm not putting any more money into it. Plates and registration sticker will be removed upon sale. Truck has never been in an accident or painted to my knowledge. Sold As-Is. Pre-Purchase Inspections Encouraged!
