Here's your chance to own a very solid and RARE 1948 F-47 Ford/Mercury truck!! The 47 means it was built in Canada. Does not have the Mercury tailgate but I believe the hood emblem is. Truck was just brought into the US in September of 2016. We have the entry paperwork. Truck has an older restoration but had been upgraded to a 302 V-8 paired up to an Automatic transmission. Looks to me as they probably came out of a Mustang. All the lights work, turn signals, etc. Truck runs great and shifts as it should. The people that brought it into the US actually drove it. DOES NOT have power steering. Truck has bucket seats in it now but I have the original bench seat in the rear that will come with the truck. Also, have a few extra parts that will also come. Really no rust on this truck at all except the lower section of the drivers door. (see photo) Other than that it's very solid. Check out the undercarriage pics as well. I really thought it would be fun to build this one but it's really just too much of a project for me to tackle as we would have to hire it all out. But if you are looking for a neat old truck that would be an easy build this may be what you have been looking for. Truck also has newer tires all the way around. Hop in and drive it home.
