OK I AM RELISTING THIS BIKE AFTER INSTALLING FRESH BATTERY AND NEW CHAIN. HATE TO SELL A BIKE NEEDING SOMETHING SO ITS READY TO PUT TITLE IN YOUR NAME AND RIDE..... I WILL BE ADDING MORE PICTURES MONDAY WHEN SUN COMES OUT, IT HAS BEEN OVERCAST/RAINING HERE AND FLASH ON CAMERA COMES ON GIVING PHOTOS A DARK PROCESSED LOOK. SO LOOK FOR BETTER PHOTOS MONDAY OR TUESDAY. 1964 CB 77 CLEAR TITLE AND MATCHING NUMBERS ONLY ONE NUMBER SEPERATING FRAME AND ENGINE FRAME CB77-109474........ ENGINE CB77E-109475 BOUGHT THIS BIKE IN 1991 AT ESTATE SALE FROM ORIGNAL OWNER. HE WAS SELLING EVERYTHING AND MOVING TO A RETIRMENT COMMUNITY. THE BIKE HAD A WIXOM FAIRING WITH WINDSHIELD, SADDLE BAGS, (AND THE MUFFLERS THAT ARE STILL ON IT TODAY 53 YEARS LATER) AND CRASH BARS ALL INSTALLED BEFORE HE TOOK DELIVERY OF THE NEW HONDA. HE WAS IN THE AIRFORCE AND PURCHASED IT NEW JUST AFTER CHRISTMAS 1964 (DURING HONDAS END OF YEAR WHITE SALE) TO USE AS ON BASE TRANSPORTATION. THE SPEEDOMETER SHOWED 6500 MILES WHEN I PURCHASED THE BIKE IN 1991 AND I QUIZZED SELLER IF THAT WAS ACCURATE BECAUSE IT APPEARED TO HAVE 1963 VERSION SPEEDOMETER. HE SAID DURING INSTALATION OF FAIRING HONDA TECHS BROKE SPEEDOMETER GLASS AND HAD TO REPLACE WITH NEW ONE DELAYING DELIVERY OF BIKE TILL SECOND WEEK OF JANUARY 1965, BUT HE WAS NOT AWARE IT WAS 1963 VERSION SPEEDOMETER. IN 1969 HE BOUGHT A NEW CB750 AND CB77 WAS PROPERLY PICKLED AND WENT IN THE GARAGE. IN 1974 HE GAVE THE 305 TO HIS DAUGHTER AND HER NEW HUSBAND, THEY TRANSFERED TITLE GOT NEW LICENSE PLATES BUT NEVER RODE THE BIKE. IT REMAINED IN GARAGE TILL I GOT IT IN 1991. I PUT ABOUT 2500 MILES ON IT BETWEEN 1991 AND 2014, I WAS PLANNING TO KEEP AND RIDE AFTER RETIRMENT SO I DID REFURBISH WITH THE FOLLOWING MOTOR PARTS INSTALLED FOLLOWING NOS HONDA PARTS IN 2014: STANDARD SIZE PISTONS, PINS, RINGS, CYINDER LINERS. TOP END GASKETS AND SEALS. NEW CAM CHAIN AND LINK WITH NEW CHAIN ROLLERS. 1967 NOS COMPLETE CLUTCH (67 IS A MUCH BETTER CLUTCH THAN THE EARLIER VERSIONS) AND RECTIFIER. NEW IGNITION SWITCH WITH FORK LOCK AND TWO KEYS. FRONT AND REAR DRIVE SPROCKETS. I THEN PUT ABOUT 250 MILES ON IT TO MAKE SURE IT RAN OK WITH NO OIL LEAKS ETC. IN 2015 HAD WHITE PARTS STRIPPED AND PRIMED IN BLACK SATIN WITH TWO COATS OF COLOR MATCHED WHITE ARCRYLIC URETHANE. REASSEMBLED IT BUT BEFORE I COULD DO ANY RIDING ON IT I LOST MY RIGHT LEG ABOVE THE KNEE, SO MY RIDING DAYS ARE DONE AT LEAST ON TWO WHEELS. IN 2016 AFTER I WAS UP AND AROUND DECIDED I WOULD SELL AND TO MAKE IT COMPLETELY READY TO RIDE FOR NEW OWNER AND TO GET MY MIND OFF THINGS I INSTALLED THE FOLLOWING PARTS. THE FOLLOWING PARTS HAVE ZERO MILES ON THEM. NEW CABLES, BOTH BRAKE CABLES, THROTTLE, CLUTCH, SPEEDO AND TACHOMETER, RECOVERED SEAT, FOAM WAS NICE AND I ADDED QUARTER INCH OF MEMORY FOAM...MADE IT NICE TO SIT ON. NEW REPRODUCTION AIR FILTERS,NEW FOOTPEG RUBBERS FRONT AND REAR, NEW TIRES, TUBES AND RIM STRIPS FRONT AND REAR,NEW REPRODUCTION WAFFLE PATTERN HANDLEBAR GRIPS. LEFT , RIGHT CONTROL LEVERS. PETCOCK COMPLETELY REBUILT WITH HONDA PARTS. NEW SPARKPLUG WIRES. MOST REPRODUCTION PARTS SOURCED FROM TIM MCDOWELL, BEEN A CUSTOMER OF HIS FOR SEVERAL YEARS. NEW NOS HONDA CONDENSOR, POINTS PLATE AND POINTS, PLUGS.. ALL OF THE ABOVE PARTS HAVE ZERO MILES ON THEM. MAY 19, 2017 , I INSTALLED NEW BATTERY AND DRIVE CHAIN. ALL ELECTRICS WORK HI/LO BEAM, NEUTRAL LITE, BRAKE AND PARK LIGHT , SPEEDO LIGHT , HORN. ELECTRIC AND KICK START, (NO CRACK ON KICK START SIDE COVER WHICH IS COMMON ON THE CB77) . NO BENT , BROKEN, LOOSE OR RUSTY SPOKES. CHROME ON BOTH RIMS NICE NO RUST...NO RUST ANYWHERE ON BIKE. . ALL FASTENERS CAD PLATED ...... NEW CASE SCREWS. INSIDE OF FUEL TANK CLEAN WITH NO SEALER OR ISSUES. THE MUFFLERS WERE INSTALLED IN 1964 WHEN BIKE WAS NEW AND VERY HEAVY , MADE OF THICK METAL....THEY APPEAR TO BE EARLY " DUNSTALL TRUMPETS" I REMEBER SEEING IN THE MID 1960's BUT THEY HAVE NO MARKINGS ON THEM. YOU WILL NEED ADJUST CABLES TO YOUR PREFERENCES AS I CAN NOT RIDE TO ADJUST THEM. THE FRONT FENDER HAS A SMALL SCRATCH AT REAR BOTTOM FROM MOVING AROUND IN SHOP. RIGHT CHROME PANEL HAS 1/4 INCH TINY DENT. ONLY SHOWS WHEN SUN HITS IT JUST RIGHT BUT BOTH PANELS AND ALL CHROME VERY NICE FOR 53 YEAR OLD MACHINE. STORED INDOORS BY PREVIOUS OWNER AND MYSELF.
