2006 Pontiac G6 to be sold to highest bidder. No reserve auction. I am the 2nd owner of this G6. This is the GT model with the 3.5L V6, power moon roof, it has the bigger sport alloy wheels and sport suspension. Really quick fun to drive. Car has a re-built title. This car was NOT in any accident, NOT in a flood. I bought this car as a hail damaged vehicle -- that was totaled out by the insurance company. The hail damage was repaired by a reputable body shop and the car was titled here in Missouri as a "rebuilt" green title. It now has a clean title and can be titled anywhere in the country with no special inspections or any hoops to jump through. The new owner can re-title immediately at the DMV. I bought the car in 2007 and it had only 11,000 miles. It was repaired in late 2007 and After it was repaired, you could not even tell there was any hail damage. The car mechanically was perfect as it had NOT been in any accident or damaged mechanically. Not too long ago we had a "75,000 mile service" to the car which included new tires, brakes, battery, all fluid changes, etc. A few years ago GM had a recall to the power steering and we got that replaced at the dealer. It is has been VERY reliable. Tires look like new. They are Firestone sport tires. Right now the car is running good. It starts, idles and drives very smoothly, brakes work great (no brake noises when stopping). It accelerates just as it did when I bought it. Only issues I can think of I will explain:- the drivers head light is burnt out (high beams work)-the AC and Heat work great (very cold AC and heat is good) -- however recently the fan (for ac and heat settings) works only on level 4 (which is the highest setting). If you put the fan on 1, 2 or 3 it will not turn on (as if it was in the off position). My understanding is the repair is easy and is a blower resistor only. Nothing run with AC compressor.-Also recently the key FOB remote quite working. I replaced the battery but it still would not work. It might need a new remote FOB which can be ordered fairly easily and programmed at dealer.-Also -- when you just start to accelerate (from a stop light for example) the car makes a slight rattle-type noise. It has no effect on acceleration or performance. Once you get going past 5 MPH or so -- it stops. The rattle is very slight and is minimally noticeable. The car idles and drives really smoothly -- so I suspect this is minor. -Besides those minor items -- the car is mechanically great. -Cosmetically the car is about average. It has a few scratches and small dings. The fount bumper has some minor damage as shown in the photos.This would make a great car for a young person or for those who may not care as much if the paint or body is not perfect. I tried to show all this in the photos.That's about all I can think of....as far as issues. The car has almost 100k miles but I believe with a little TLC and some basic maint and service work -- the car will be good to go for quite a while. Tires look like new. The engine and transmission are a work horse and this car has always been very reliable. It has plenty of power and is fun to drive. The reason we are selling is because my wife wanted a new car.
