My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0L. I would rate the exterior of this Mustang to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. It is finished in black, which is a good color. The finish does show some fading from age, as you'd expect from an old car. There are a few rust bubbles under the paint on the RR fender and one on the edge of the hatch, which is normal. There is also a dent on the left rocker and it looks as if the right door may not be original to the car. Also, the cowl panel is bent. All in all...not bad for it's age but far from a show car. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and hatch all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. This car has a nice set of Weld Draglite's that are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully as this car is far from perfect. I would rate the interior of this Mustang to also be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. To be honest, the interior itself isn't too bad. The dash and headliner are clean. The door cards look fine. Even the carpets aren't bad. This Mustang will need a new weather stripping kit. You can see on the driver's seat that it does drip water. The seats show well for their age and are comfortable. Both power windows work. As usual, the power locks do not...neither do the mirrors. The stereo is aftermarket. It works, but not my favorite set-up. The climate control system seems to need some work. The heater does not blow hot air and the air conditioner is inoperable. My biggest complaint about the interior is all the gauges. Half of them don't work. Also, the instrument cluster doesn't really light up. What's more, neither the headlights nor the front parking lights work. The tail lights work and the high beams flash...but that's it. If it were my car, I'd rip it all out and just start clean. Mechanically, this Mustang appears to be all there. I was given some spec's for the car by the dealer it was traded at...but I have no way to verify any of it so I'm just passing along what I was told. I am told the engine is a 306ci but I have no way to verify that. I was also told the car has a mild cam...but it sounds stock to me. I can see a cold air intake and a full ignition system upgrade. I can also see a full exhaust from the headers back. I was told the car has a "built trans". I don't know what that means. I believe the trans is a C4. Shifts are very quick and clean so you know it's not just a stock trans with a shift kit. I am also told the car has 3.73's...this, I believe to be true. The engine makes good power and feels strong. She keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. The transmission feels strong...no slipping or hunting. Shifts are very quick and strong. She goes down the road nice and straight. The power steering seems to be either removed intentionally or not working. You can feel a little pulsation in the brakes if you stand on them hard from highway speed. Somehow, this car has a brand new PA safety and emissions inspection...despite the fact that the headlights don't work. I am selling this as a "project car" because it needs work, one way or another. You could get the lights working right and just use it as a daily...or...use it as a strong base for a real project. These cars are getting hard to find. Most everything out there in the market is high end, well kept or restored examples. If you don't want to spend $15,000 to get into a Foxbody Mustang, here is your chance to get a solid, straight car you can put your own touch on. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Vehicle Photos: Vehicle Warranty: This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty: expressed, written, or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value of the vehicle and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyers request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. About Liberty Auto Exchange: We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with NO RESERVE auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We hand pick each of our vehicles based on quality, value and desirability. Basically...if I wouldnt drive it myself, Im not going to try to sell it to you. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection before it is offered for sale. We strive to provide the most thorough and accurate description as possible within the scope of our ability. Please understand that we are not mechanics. The opinions contained within the written description should not be taken as a professional mechanics assessment and are not guaranteed. There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced, reconditioned and inspected. We try to mitigate as much of that risk as possible for our customers...just keep in mind that most of our vehicles sell for significantly less than a similar vehicle would be priced on a retail lot. We offer warranties through CARS to help offset as much risk as possible. Please understand that some of the vehicles we sell are disqualified from warranty eligibility due to age, mileage, price or other factors established by CARS. This is out of our control. No amount shall be set aside or discounted if a vehicle does not qualify for coverage under the Terms & Conditions established by CARS. Please see each individual listing for Warranty Eligibility. We have sold over one thousand vehicles on eBay to happy new owners through NO RESERVE auctions and we aim to continue to do so. We are very proud of our feedback score and our many repeat buyers. If you have any questions about how we sell, our policies or questions about a specific vehicle, please send us a message. Vehicles ten model years old and older are exempt from odometer disclosure, this is a federal law. Mileage may be listed as "exempt" or "TMU" on titles for vehicles older than ten model years old. Should we have reason to believe that mileage listed for a vehicle is inaccurate, this will be disclosed within the written description provided for the vehicle regardless of the odometer status listed on the title. Terms and Conditions: Payment Options We accept the following payment methods: - Cash (in person) Vehicle Pickup & Shipping All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. General Terms Please be sure to read the entire written description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide the most detailed description we can provide within the scope of our abilities and offer 50-100 photos with each listing in order to be as transparent as possible. To ask us a question, please send a detailed message through eBays messenger service. This can be done by clicking the link that says "ask seller a question". Please wait to bid until you are completely comfortable doing so. By placing a bid, you assert that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions as well as eBays Terms & Conditions. You further assert that you completely understand all risks associated with purchasing a used vehicle and have exercised, to your satisfaction, your ability to conduct all needed research regarding this transaction. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the sole right of the seller to honor or not honor the outocome of the auction. This decision shall be made by the seller, at its sole discretion, and can be made at any time during the duration of the auction or after the auction has ended. The seller may, at its discretion, cancel any bid at any time and / or block specific members from bidding on current or future auctions. Winning Bidders must contact us by email through eBay within 48 hours of the end of the auction so there is written record of our initial communication. Please include your contact information in that email so we can reach you to discuss the logistics of getting your automobile picked up. Our normal business hours are Friday and Saturday from 9am - 2pm. Other days and time are available by appointment. Please contact us in advance to make an appointment to come pick up your vehicle so that we can accommodate you when you arrive. Full payment is due within 7 days from the end of the auction. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all required fees to their respective state of origin. We are a PennDOT issuing agent and are happy to provide low cost title / tag services to Pennsylvania Residents. *For Out-Of-State Residents, we offer a PennDOT 30 day In-Transit Tag to legally drive your vehicle to your home state. The cost of the PennDOT In-Transit Tag is $49. Please contact us for details and insurance requirements. ☎ Call or text "24168" to 717-484-8162 for more information
