My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Lexus IS300. I would rate the exterior of this Lexus to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black over black. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Lexus, the worst I can say is that there is a light dent in the driver's door...may not even be visible in the photos. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The hood latch appears to be sticking and will not let the hood close fully. The hood does stay latched via the safety latch so the car can safely be driven until you can get it looked at. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this IS300 came in. I would also rate the interior of this Lexus to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather sport seats are soft, supple and comfortable. The only visible wear worth mentioning is that the driver's seat cushion is torn along the stitching line (see photos). Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The original audio system has been upgraded with a Kenwood in-dash CD player which sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The only other bad thing I can say about the interior is that the glove box latch is a little finicky. All in all, not too bad for an older vehicle. Mechanically, this IS300 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels well sorted and tight as a drum. Steering feels good, too. You do get some vibration in the pedal under braking so I'd assume you'll have to put brakes on the car sooner than later. However, the car does stop safely with no issues. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. If you're looking for a clean IS that hasn't been all used up and abused, this low mile 2004 deserves your serious consideration. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction.
